Primary Application Guideline【▼】

Number of Successful Applicants: 1 Person
Application Period: From November 1st ~December 15 2016
（Primary Web Application ）
Requirements: ・Must be available for travel from February1st~Febuary 28th, 2017.
・Over 20 years of age with proof of good physical health (Not Applicable for Japanese Nationals)
・Fluent in business level English / Japanese
・Legal ability to reside in Japan for 14~30 days (All applicable visa requirements for each applicant)
・Must be able and willing to travel to all 13 municipalities and cities of:
Marumori town,Watari town , Iwanuma city, Kakuda city, Shiroishi city , Natori city, Kawasaki town, Zao town, Shichigasyuku town, Shibata town,Murata town, Yamamoto town, Ogawara town
Applicants should: ・Have a strong desire to revive the Tohoku region
・Have an interest in various types of industries
・Be able to use Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter etc.) everyday.
・Be proficient in writing, photography, video production
・Have a general interest and understanding of Japanese culture
・Hold an interest in Miyagi prefecture
Rules and Regulations: ・All successful applicants MUST join the chosen insurance program of the TOHOKU365 executive committee.
・Must travel through all 13 assigned municipalities and cities during the campaign period.
・All articles, videos, photos and social media posts must focus on the culture, history, food and people of Miyagi prefecture.
・Must follow requests and procedures from the TOHOKU365 executive committee.
Report Submission Guidelines: ・1 -3 articles or submissions must be submitted every day
　Article(pictures with text) / Video (finished edited video)
・All submissions must include locations and relevant transit information
Reward: A one-million JPY stipend will be paid for a 30 day trip duration (Before taxes)
※Stipends will be divided into 4 payments for the duration of the trip
※Payment will be calculated on a per-day basis if trip duration is less than 30 days
*Note: For applicants with 15 day visas, a maximum five-hundred-thousand JPY stipend will be paid. (Before taxes)
※ A deduction of 20.42% will be withheld for tax purposes in accordance with Japan’s laws and regulations
Screening and Application Process: ・Preliminary application period (November 1st~ December 15)
　Submit a 1 minute video introduction of yourself to YouTube or other video hosting services
・Secondary Screening （December 15~ December 31）
　Evaluation of resume, Application form (self-introduction video)
・Final Screening (January 1st ~15)
　Interview on SKYPE (5 Finalists)
・Travel period:（February 1st~ 28 ）
Specific details of primary screening: ・Make a one minute self introduction video and upload it to YouTube or other video hosting services and send an email including the following points:①Video URL/ ②Name / ③Citizenship/ ④Email address
・The language spoken in the video can be English/Japanese (subtitles are allowed)
・You will be evaluated based on the content of your video
・Successful Primary round applicants will have their videos uploaded to the TOHOKU365 homepage.
