Kokeshi no Shimanuki Main Branch
Many handicraft items from Miyagi and Tohoku are available, including Kokeshi dolls, Tamamushi-nuri lacquerware, Sendai chest, and Ogatsu stone products. There are also many original crafts and Kokeshi goods that are made using traditional techniques, such as canned Kokeshi dolls and Kokeshi flashlights. Visitors can also experience Kokeshi doll painting and Chigiri painting using the Yanagi-u Japanese paper.
