滑津大滝-Waterfall with Float Snow in Winter
The Nametsu Ohtaki waterfall (滑津大滝) is one of the landmark sightseeing place in Shichikashuku, which is extremely beautiful even in winter.
The volume of the water is smaller in winter than that in summer, but it gives people the illusion as if the water is frozen.

きららの森コテージ-Nice House for Party near the Ski Resort
We stayed in the Cottage Site of Shichikashuku (きららの森コテージ) yesterday, and it was a really cool living experience. The cottage has several individual houses just near the Ski place, and you have to reserve it in advance as it’s so limited in number.
The cottage house has a kitchen with all kinds of cookware thereby making it a suitable place for party. This two level house has a large entertainment hall with a kitchen on the first floor, and two separate large bedrooms on the second floor.
There is nothing better than waking up in the forest and enjoying a self-made coffee.
I choose to walk a little bit around before go to the ski field. Under the warm sunlight, the winter of South Miyagi is not as cold as have I expected.
